Morphotheque #12 (2001) is a collection of 4 elements, 1:1 casts of icicles.
They are made out of polyurethane and each one measures approx. 70 cm. in length.
The sculptural forms are exact replicas of icicles that are grown in a freezer in the artists' studio. Despite the fact that they
are grown under the same controlled circumstances (temperature, location, dripping time intervals), the development of each
individual icicle is different. The mutual differences are the consequence of complex and elusive thermodynamic processes.
