E-volver

E-volver (2006) is a site specific work for the Research Labs of the LUMC in Leiden. It consists of four 'image breeding units' and five large prints, that are spread throughout the building. The interactive installation uses artificial genetics and artificial evolution to cultivate colourful animations, influenced by the personal preferences of the scientistsand students that work in the building. Below you can view a few video fragments of the type of animations that have been evolved with the E-volver breeding software.
