Tickle Salon
The robot installation Tickle Salon (2002) provides a space arranged for stroking sessions. The
suspended robot uses a "feeler" to probe the body on the bed. It carries out sensitive movements over
the surface of the skin, endeavouring to offer variety, unpredictability and flexibility.
Tickle Salon has been awarded a 1st prize in 2002 at VIDA 5.0, an international
competition on Art & Artificial Life.
